Night Rating

In order to fly under the JAR rules at night (defined as the hours between 30 mins after sunset to 30 mins before sunrise) you must hold a night qualification. Completing this rating will allow you to fly with or without passengers at night.

Requirements:
 Hold a valid JAR-PPL(H) licence
 Hold a valid Class 2 or 1 medical certificate

Training:
Have completed at least 5 hours including:
 3 hours "double" instruction
 1 hour "double" cross country
 5 takeoffs and 5 landings
