Trial Flights

Trial flights allow you to discover the syllabus of the PPL(H) by flying 30 minutes on one helicopter of your choice.

The lesson begins with a ground briefing, followed by the flight with an experienced instructor. The briefing is an opportunity to discover the basis of flying a helicopter: how does an helicopter fly; what are the major air rules... It is also a privileged moment with your instructor to plan your flight from A to Z and make sure that you have understood the lesson. A good briefing is essential because it clears your mind before any flight and enables you to enjoy the flying experience even more.

The next step is the flight itself! Even if it is only a trial flight, you will get the opportunity to fly the helicopter. The instructor will show you some basic exercices such as holding a stationary flight.

If you wish to continue for the Private Pilot Licence, the flight time will be logged in your flight book and count for the required hours to pass the PPL(H).
